Roosevelt Elementary Needs You
The Roosevelt PTA’s Booster Club will continue to raise money to pay for the "STUFF" we need at Roosevelt, things that are not paid for by the state or the district.

A great school deserves a great fund-raising mascot. Not a for sports teams, safety programs, or “school spirit” – but a brave, noble and true mascot dedicated to the important work of raising money.
Our Bear is inspired by Teddy-B and Teddy-G, the wise-cracking, rhyming heroes of "The Roosevelt Bears," which appeared as illustrated story-poems in the "children's section" of major newspapers from about 1905 to 1916. The two well-dressed country bears' adventures in the city were immensely popular - President Roosevelt himself was flattered to be their inspiration, and enjoyed reading the poems with his children.
Details about our bear's background, likes and dislikes can be found on his facebook page, if he ever gets around to updating it.
